Festival of Grounded Souls
Sunday, August 20th • 12 - 7 pm
Herbert Von King, Brooklyn NY
Divine Times Collective presents a free, day-long celebration in Herbert Von King Park, featuring workshops, activities, and performances by local artisans and musicians.
We take a unique approach to traditional festivals, focusing on inner-child healing, mindfulness, and vulnerability, especially for black and brown queer people, with childhood games and a group meditation led by Laraaji to start the day, and an open community drum circle jam as the finale (bring your favorite percussion!).
The event is non-profit, with any donations going towards compensating contributors, future events, and supporting local organizations that uplift black and brown queer communities.
